In return for this help almost every customer gave a donation – including a few £10 notes! Over both days we raised a satisfying £2,112.96 for our impending summer camp to Kandersteg in the Swiss Alps, taking place from next week! This money will go towards subsidising the trip to lower the cost for those unable to afford the full price, and to replace worn equipment.

During the camp we will be climbing glaciers, hiking, swimming in Alpine lakes, riding in cable cars, sightseeing and meeting Scouts from all over the world.

We are extremely grateful to the staff and customers of Sainsbury’s Muswell Hill – so a huge “thank you” from all of us.
