Fire & Ice 18th-20th January 2013

On the 18th – 20th January we went to Tolmers to take part in their 2013 Fire & Ice camp. For most of the Explorers that attended this was our first camp in the snow and so we used that to our advantage to have snowball fights, build snowmen and go sledging. We had fun doing many activities from pedal karts to ‘the rock’ to archery and rifle shooting. We also cooked everything on a fire including making a Moroccan Lamb Stew for dinner on Saturday night. This camp was a great chance for explorers from both Wild Wolf ESU and Highgate & Hornsey ESU to get to know each other and I would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of going on their first winter camp as it is a lot of fun and allows you to enjoy yourself outside even at the beginning of January.
