This Data Privacy Notice describes the categories of personal data that Wild Wolf Explorer Scout Unit processes and for what purposes. Wild Wolf Explorer Scout Unit are committed to collecting and using such data fairly and in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), the regulations set by the European Union, and Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018), the UK law that encompasses the GDPR.
This Privacy Notice applies to people who have bought tickets for the Wild Wolf Explorer Scout Unit Fireworks Display 2024, and relates specifically to data the collected by Wild Wolf Explorer Scout Unit.
Wild Wolf Explorer Scout Unit is part of North London Scout District, a registered charity with the Charity Commission for England & Wales; charity number 1156779.
From this point on Wild Wolf Explorer Scout Unit will be referred to as “we”.
We may collect the following personal information:
- Name
- Email address
We use this personal data in order to process your booking for our 2024 Fireworks Display and to send you your tickets.
We may also use your personal data for marketing and informational purposes, limited to the following:
- One email before the Fireworks Display with useful information for your visit.
- One email shortly after the Fireworks Display to ask for your feedback.
- One email within a year after the Fireworks Display to invite you to our 2025 Fireworks Display.
We will store your personal data securely for a maximum of 1 year after the 2024 Fireworks Display, which is being held on the 2nd November 2024.
We will normally only share your personal data with relevant people within our 2024 Fireworks Display delivery team.
We will however share your personal information with others outside the delivery team if required in order to meet a legal obligation. This may include The Scout Association and its insurance subsidiary (Unity Insurance Services), local authority services and law enforcement. We will only share your personal information to the extent needed for those purposes.
We will only share your data with third parties outside of the organisation where there is a legitimate reason to do so. We will never sell your personal information to any third party.
We store your personal information securely online. Printed records may also be used to facilitate the delivery of our Fireworks Display, to mitigate for any issues with digital or internet access.
As a Data Subject, you have the right to object to how we process your personal information. You also have the right to access, correct, sometimes delete and restrict the personal information we use.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time.
