The Event: What to Expect

Now in its eleventh year, our fireworks event has come a long way since the first display! This year we have an amazing array of food and drink stalls, all run by Wild Wolf Explorers along with Explorers and Scouts from other groups. Plus, there’ll be the chance to experience a proper Scout campfire with songs and marshmallow toasting. All stalls will be available during both the Low-Noise Display AND Feature Display slots, allowing you to soak up the atmosphere and witness youth-led Scouting at its finest. The fireworks will then provide a fitting end to an amazing event. For more details on the timings of the two different displays, see the Event Schedule.

Our stalls are mainly run by Wild Wolf Explorers, but this year we have a few other Scout groups coming in to lend a hand.

The full details of this year’s stalls have not yet been finalised, but will be similar to previous years. Our 2018 stall list can be found below and should give you an idea of what to expect:

For the second year running, this November will see us welcoming local artists to the stage to provide live music during the event. We are also introducing lots of new children’s activities this year to keep the kids entertained – watch this space for more details!
