Tonight, for the first time in over a year, Wild Wolf welcomed our whole Unit back to Scout Park for our first face-to-face meeting of 2021. The evening saw Explorers competing for the WWESU Patrol Cup, scoring points in a range of team activities before falling into a Parade full of investitures and awards! #wearewildwolf
For our last online meeting before we go back to face to face next week, everyone in the Unit took a trip to Hogwarts! All the Explorers split into teams and competed against each other in a Hogwarts escape room to see who could solve all the clues and finish first.
One year ago today, Scout groups across the country were forced to suspend face-to-face Scouting in light of a developing pandemic. Ever since, Wild Wolf ESU has strived to continue providing the best quality of Scouting possible for our young people. To showcase everything we’ve learnt and achieved over the last year, we’ve written a blog post for you to read. Check it out using the link in our bio!
Let the WWESU Bake-off commence! Tonight, our Explorers followed a recipe for the ‘World’s Best Cookies’ - crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Exciting flavour combinations and presentation were marked and PL Mimi was our winner with chocolate and pistachio cookies!
Counting down the days until we can return face-to-face, we had a fun and informative Zoom meeting this evening, starting with a musical quiz before a presentation led by one of our Patrol Leaders, Freddy. He spoke about how to sign up to, complete and upload evidence for our @dofeuk Awards, which over 80 members of the Unit are doing this year! Our fingers are crossed for being able to run expeditions in the summer!
Last night, our Explorers enjoyed a musical bingo activity run by our SPL, Priya! With a playlist full of nostalgia, everyone enjoyed a blast from the past as they competed to cross off all their songs!
